Join us for World Café, a soulful and melodic Dance Eclectic journey through music from around the world. This will not be limited to one rhythm, one culture, or one dance style. The playlist will move through music shaped by many languages, traditions, and feelings — with sounds that may invite waltz, tango, blues, Latin, swing, ballroom, close-embrace fusion, or simply the pleasure of moving with a partner.

For dancers who usually stay within one genre, World Café is a chance to stretch without pressure. A waltz dancer may find new colors in 3/4 and 6/8 rhythms from different cultures. A tango dancer may discover tango feeling inside a French or Latin song. A blues dancer may hear new possibilities for grounded connection. A Latin dancer may recognize familiar warmth and pulse inside a broader world-fusion setting. A swing or ballroom dancer may find that familiar skills can travel beautifully into unfamiliar music.

This is the heart of Dance Eclectic: not abandoning what we know, but letting it travel.
