Playing with Dance Videos- A genre bending exploration of dance musicality

About the videos- it’s been been fun and educational mixing videos from great dancers to music from different genres and tempos. It’s amazing to me how well the dancers sync with the music even if it's quite different from their original music. (My apologies to the dancers for taking these liberties.) It’s an indication of how well the dancers follow the phrasing in the music. To me it was an education on how the phrasing in the music is consistent from genre to genre, making the sync possible. Tango and West Coast Swing seem particularly adaptive to syncing to other genres, possibly because the languages of these dance are both so expressive and invite innovation. I hope you enjoy them and invite any comments you have.
